Specification Writer Option Explanations
Most doors come standard with an Interior side lock which engages the door track on the interior side of the door only. This type of lock can receive a padlock for additional security.
Mortise Thru locks should only be specified where there is no other outside entry to the building. They cannot be used on motorized or chain operated doors.
