Specification Writer Option Explanations
Track:
There are three track options available.

2"
Bracket Type to mount on to a wood jamb. This should only be specified
for doors under 150 square feet and doors 12' wide maximum.

2" Angle
Mounted Track can be used for doors mounting to wood, steel on masonry
jambs. This can be used for most doors up to 250 square feet with 20'
wide being the maximum width, it is much stronger then the 2" Bracket
Type.

3" Angle
Mounted Track should be selected for doors larger than 250 square feet and
wider than 20'. It is also ideal for high cycle applications and areas
where the track is subject to possible damage. 3" Angle Mounted
Track is an excellent choice even on smaller doors where the end user is
looking for a high quality job. All tracks should be designed to clear
maximum off floor particularly in loading dock and storage areas.
